Pilates classes have been loved by dancers since Joseph Pilates introduced his classes to New York City in the 1930’s. Mr. Pilate’s methods were loved by the dance elite, including George Balanchine and Martha Graham, and his methods are still widely used in the dance elite today. Pilates is a great way to strength all of your dance-specific muscles, providing super improves your technique and performance. Pilates is also a valuable tool to both recovery for injuries and help reduce your risk of injuries in the future.
As well as being a physical therapist, I am also a fully qualified Pilates teacher. I teach a variety of classes, including beginner through advanced levels, groups and private lessons.
