Ballet feet exercise – My favorite exercise to safely and effectively improve your pointe range

Who wants better ballet feet? Looking to increase your pointe range? Ballet, and particularly pointe work, require extreme range of motion in your feet and ankles. This exercise works on improving the end range strength in your feet and ankles, which will both help to improve your foot flexibility while improving your strength and stability at the same time. Far more effective and safer than a foot stretcher!

In the quest for banana feet, dancers will sometimes turn to foot stretchers or try things like jamming their feet under the sofa. These practices can lead to serious injury and long term foot and ankle pain. Please just don’t do it. Try this exercise instead!

*** Please note *** This is one of my advanced foot control exercises. Please make sure you have a good foundation of strength and understand proper foot alignment before trying this exercise.
