Without a doubt, the most common exercise recommended for improving foot strength is pointing into a theraband. While it’s not a bad exercise per se, it’s one of my least favorite exercises for feet and ankle strength.

I am a specialist dance and sports physiotherapist. I have over 15 years experience working with dancers and athletes. I specialize in helping dancers optimize their training, achieve their goals, and reach the level of performance they aspire to. I also provide online, video call physiotherapy for dancers. If the worst happens and you end up injured, you can access high-quality, specialist treatment from anywhere in the world! I provide injury assessment, diagnosis and full treatment plans, to help you recover as quickly as possible and come back a stronger and better dancer than before.
